Clone 114. aged 17 months in French oak barrels. · Moderately dark garnet color in the glass. Shy aromas initially, unfold to revealing enticing scents of dark cherry, dark berry, fertile earth and oak spice. Almost mysterious in character, with interesting savory toned fruit flavors of blackberry and black grape. Generous, but not weighty sap, with honed tannins and some finishing length.
