Sourced from Van Duzer Estate, Kalita, Saffron Fields and Dukes Family vineyards. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The nose opens slowly in the glass to reveal delicate aromas of raspberry, dried red cherry, mocha and bark. Light to mid weight in style, with darker fruit flavors on the palate including black cherry, black raspberry and Damsel plum. Matching tannins, a light touch of oak, and a modest finish complete the picture. Score: 88. Reviewed June 25, 2017
