Native yeast fermentation, aged 11 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. · Light ruby red color in the glass. Aromas of cherry and sawdust arrive over time in the glass. Bright and sleek on the palate, with light to mid weight flavors of red cherry and red berry, nicely spiced. Forward drinking, with a fortuitous cherry-driven finish. Still excellent when tasted the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Score: 92. Reviewed August 27, 2017
