14.2% alc., pH 3.43, TA 0.64, 45 cases, $64. Dijon clones 943, 115, “828,” and 777. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels, 50% new. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Reserved but pleasant aromas of purple grape, blackberry juice, spice and nutty oak. Intensely fruity, with layers of purple and black fruited extract. The most intense fruit attack in the 2015 Morgan lineup. There is enough tannin to corral the fruit and the finish is notable for its generosity. Score: 92. Reviewed September 24, 2017
