Aged 15 months in French oak barrels, 50% new. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Very pleasant and enticing aromas of black cherry, dark rose petal and seasoned oak. Mid weight plus in style, offering a melange of flavors including black cherry, black raspberry, plum, cola and spice. The fruit is ripe but not too ripe. Polished in demeanor, with good length in the mouth and a pleasing finish. Score: 91. Reviewed June 9, 2018
