Cross-flow filtered. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. A straightforward wine with aromas of muddled cherry, baking spice, boysenberry and toasty oak. Simple and agreeable, with mid weight flavors of black cherry and sarsaparilla, and a conspicuous oak presence. Sleek and silky in the mouth with integrated tannins and good vibrancy. Score: 88.
