2006 Holloran Le Pavillon Vineyard Dundee Hills Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

13.5% alc., $33. · Not a terribly deep or complex wine, but one that has admirable finesse and easy drinkability. Plenty of black cherry and black raspberry fruit to satisfy with a hint of oak spice and char. Soft, clean and nicely balanced. Similarly styled to Jay Christopher’s own wines, this one is impressive for the money and worth seeking out. Reviewed September 15, 2008
