2006 Patricia Green Cellars Four Winds Yamhill County Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 13.0% alc., $30. From a unique vineyard site in western McMinnville. Very isolated, the vineyard receives a large maritime influence. Owned by Jon Steinhart and Julie Donnelly. Pommard and Dijon clones. · The nose is dominated by healthy oak char and toast. On the palate there is an intense attack of the taste of plum reduction sauce finishing with a tangy citric and an oak and mineral-laden finish that lingers for more than twenty seconds.
