13.8% alc., 175 cases, $32. Sourced from the Thomas Road Vineyard in Green Valley planted in 1997 and farmed by Dutton Ranch. · Intense reddish-purple color in the glass. Subdued aromas of dark red fruits framed by toast and sweet smoke. A discreet and sensual wine offering strawberry and raspberry fruit with an underpinning of brisk acidity highlighted by a citrus peel note on the tangy finish. A great food wine. Fine the next day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Very good. Reviewed February 15, 2010
