2005 Casa Barranca Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir

13.9% alc., 1,325 cases, $25. Aged in 40% new French oak. · The theme is blueberries and strawberries with notes of mocha and cedar. Discreetly concentrated with mild but firm tannins and lively acidity on the back end. No complaints, especially at this price. Reviewed September 11, 2006
