2004 J. Lynne Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 14.5% alc., 341 cases, $20. Bottled under an unusual blue capsule. · Alluring aromatics featuring cherry cola, cranberries and a touch of oak. Light in color, but packed with flavor. The Pinot fruits are presented on an elegant platform and the wine finishes smoothly with a touch of toast. Like all good young wines, this one picked up structure and character with air time. As my Mexican gardener would say, "I'm like theez one." Reviewed September 5, 2006 Winery: J. Lynne Wines
