2003 Toulouse Estate Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 14.1% alc., 1,625 cases, $30. Estate vineyard is planted to clones 115, 667, 777 and 2A. Aged 23 months in French oak. · This beauty has an elegant style that I admire. The nose is subdued, but offers delicate rose petal, raspberry and cherry perfume. The sweet cherry and raspberry fruit keeps you coming back for another sip. Despite a lengthy time in barrel, the oak is nicely integrated. The wine has a good acid backbone and the finish is soft and lingering. Reviewed September 5, 2006 Winery: Toulouse Vineyards & Winery
