2004 Vino V Wines Confundido Santa Barbara County Red Wine

14.5% alc., 50 cases. A blend of Grenache (50%) from Vogelzang Vineyard, Pinot Noir (25%) from Clos Pepe Vineyard, and Syrah (25%) from White Hawk Vineyard. · I don't have any reference point for this unusual blend but I can say it is well crafted. A little good barnyard shows up in the nose. Less fat on the palate than the other two 2004 vintage wines from Vino V. Finishes nicely with zingy fruit. Decent. Reviewed September 5, 2006
