2000 Scherrer Winery Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
14.5% alc., $47. · Retains a moderately dark color. Bright aromas of black cherries, pepper, cigar box, marzipan and oak. Juicy flavors of cherries, plums, tea and a subtle note of citrus peel. Beautiful aged patina with a very smooth texture. If you like aged Pinot Noir, this is your cup of tea. Very good. Reviewed April 23, 2010
