2008 Marimar Estate Don Miguel Vineyard La Masia Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 14.7% alc., $30. Estate grown and bottled. From organic grapes grown in western Sonoma County in the Green Valley appellation. Unfiltered. · Moderate reddish-purple color in the glass. Revealing aromas of cherries, raspberries and delicate oak. Flavors of very ripe berries and raisin, accentuated with an herbal bent, displaying flamboyant tannins and some heat on the reasonably long finish. Good. Reviewed June 24, 2012
