2011 Origine Russian River Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir 13.0% alc., $12, screw cap. Sourced from 3 vineyards. Slow, cold fermentation. Aged on the lees for 2 months and bottled young. · Moderate pink-orange color in the glass. Aromas of fresh strawberries, red raspberries and watermelon leap out of the glass upon opening. Discreet richness with flavors of strawberry, raspberry and red grapefruit with a hint of cherry vanilla. Fresh and spirited. Good (+). Reviewed June 24, 2012
