2007 Boedecker Cellars Carlton Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Spent 20 months in seasoned oak and racked into neutral barrels and aged off the lees for another 9 months. · Very pretty nose offering scents of fresh dark red raspberries and strawberries with a hint of tobacco. Very soft in the mouth, with delicious flavors of plum and berries, lifted by bright acidity. The 2007 vintage was very underrated in Oregon and many wines, such as this one, are great now. Very good. Reviewed August 23, 2012
