2008 Maison Ambroise Echézeaux Grand Cru

Approximate retail $110. Aged 18 months in 100% new French oak. Unfined and unfiltered. Surprisingly good vintage for this wine. · Nicely perfumed with notes of black cherries, rose petals and spice, finishing with intense dark fruits. Full-bodied with firm tannins and impressive length. Quite approachable. Reviewed August 23, 2012
