Aged 11 months in 50% mew Billon French oak barrels. · Moderate reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of cherries, dark chocolate, black olive and mushroom. Tasty, middleweight flavors of cherries with hints of chocolate and sassafras and oak in the background. Soft in the mouth with some finishing presence. Good. Reviewed June 4, 2013
