2012 Kosta Browne Kanzler Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

14.6% alc., 760 cases, $84. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. The nose draws you in with vivid aromas of fresh black raspberry and blackberry fruit. Soft and silky on the palate with nice harmony, this fruit-driven wine is more modest in concentration than in past years and drinkers may relish this expression. That said, this is not a wimpy wine. The fruit, albeit very ripe, is vivid and invigorating. Still satisfying the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Score: 90. Reviewed July 19, 2014
