Aged 16 months in 40% new French oak barrels. · Moderately light cherry red color in the glass. Delicate yet pleasing aromas of cherry, raspberry, bay leaf, rose petal and wood lead to a light to medium weighted wine with flavors of red cherry, strawberry and raspberry with added notes of spice and oak. Elegant and suave, lacy and transparent, with gentle tannins, a soft texture and a juicy finish with good grip and cherry drive. Score: 92. Reviewed June 19, 2016
