13.8% alc., 264 cases, pH 3.71, TA 0.55, $63. Released January 2016. Sourced from two grower vineyards, primarily Corda Vineyard. Aged 16 months in French oak barrels, 31% new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. The nose leads with attractive scents of dark berries, black cherry, Asian 5-spice and a touch of smoke. Very satisfying, with dusty tannins, a savory thread and a finish offering generous plum and blackberry aromatic goodness. Score: 91. Reviewed June 19, 2016
