Recommended Lodging

Asuncion Ridge Vineyards Inn (see under Wineries)
Blue Bird Motel
Phone805-552-5434
CommentsThis motel is a throwback to the motels of the1950s. Casual and inexpensive but adequate. Walking distance to restaurants of downtown Cambria. I have a nostalgic fondness for this place. Note: Paso Robles can be very hot (nearly 100?F not unusual) in the summer. For a cooler lodging option, consider Cambria which is on the coast and only a 10-20 minute drive to the wineries of Paso Robles. This small town restricts growth and building, retaining its 1950s charm, and never seems to change. No franchise food chains here.
