2018 Dutton Estate La Familia Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.5% alc., pH 3.65, TA 0.67, 223 cases, $72. Released January 2021. Sourced from the Kozlowski Family Vineyard located in the heart of the Green Valley and the home of Tracy Dutton’s family who have farmed Sonoma County over five generations. 100% Pommard clone planted in 1998 in Goldridge sandy loam soil. Harvest Brix 25.4º.5-day cold soak, inoculation with proprietary yeast and daily punchdowns applied to gently release color. Aged in a mixture of French oak barrels, 45% new. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The nose wows with aromas of the ripest strawberry, Bing cherry, black raisin and baking spice. Bold, dark cherry core that saturates the mid palate and floods the long finish with goodness. Admirable balance with reeled-in tannins and oak input. 2015 Anaba Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

14.1% alc., pH 3.34, TA 0.64, 505 cases, $42. Grapes sourced from vineyards in the Green Valley (Kozlowski Vineyard) and Carneros (Los Brisas Vineyard). Pommard, 115, Swan, 777 and 667. Harvest Brix 24.5º. 100% de-stemmed, 4 to 6-day cold soak, fermented separately by clone. Aged 20 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. The nose makes its mark with aromas of black cherry, bark, graphite and a hint of smoke. Rather simple but satisfying, with mid weight flavors of black raspberry, black cherry and strawberry framed by gentle tannins. The acid-fueled finish offers pleasing sweet cherry aromatics. 2012 WALT La Brisa Sonoma County Pinot Noir

14.9% alc., 2,594 cases, $40. Released March 2014. A blend from several select vineyards including Widdoes, Kozlowski, Martinelli, Gregori and Gap’s Crown. Native yeast fermentation, aged in 40% new French oak. Unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Perfumed with black cherry, spice, oak and a subtle floral note. Modest in weight but flavorful with notes of black cherry, spice and anise-laced oak. The tannins and alcohol are integrated and the wine is easy to drink. Score: 88.
