From 1975-1988 the Webers planted 35 acres of Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. At some point, the Webers sold about 21 acres of the original vineyard to Andy and Adria Humphreys. 2017 Winderlea Dundee Hills Rosé of Pinot Noir

13.2% alc., pH 3.32, TA 0.62, 325 cases, $30. Sourced from Winderlea Vineyard (55% clone 777) and Weber Vineyard (45% Pommard). Aged 4 months in neutral French oak barrels following un-inoculated fermentation. · Moderately light pink in color in the glass. Delicate aromas of red berry, blood orange, nutmeg, and orange flower water. Crisp, bright and clean, with demure, but satisfying flavors of strawberry, apple and herbs. More Provence in style combining both fruit and savory characters. Score: 91. Reviewed May 12, 2018 WINERY » ARTICLE »

2013 R. Stuart & Co. Weber Vineyard Dundee Hills Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

12.7% alc., pH 3.65, TA 0.51, 73 cases, $50. · Light cherry red color in the glass. Nicely appointed aromas of red cherry, strawberry, sugar cone and Asian spice. Somewhat reticent in the mouth, with an array of light to mid weight red fruits backed by supple tannins. Very drinkable, but currently lacks nuance and inspiration. I suspect this will become more expressive with more time in bottle. Score: 89. Reviewed December 12, 2015 WINERY » ARTICLE »
