2005 Domaine Marquis D’Angerville 1er Cru Volnay Champans 13.5% alc., $150. · Deep and rich dark red Pinot fruits with plenty of woodsy scents, powerful but lovely black raspberry fruit and spice and a very healthy tannic spine.
