Thumbprint Cellars
Scott and Erica Lindstrom-Dake are the proprietors and winemakers for this winery that began as a home winemaking project of four cases of wine. Those first bottles were adorned with a personal message in gold pen, but when Scott accidentally stuck his thumb in the wet ink, a large gold thumbprint was created and the name and logo of the winery was born. Today, the winery produces 5,000 cases annual of several varietals. The winery's tasting room in downtown Healdsburg is an artistic lounge that creates a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Changing artist's exhibits add interest. Pinot Noirs for 2007 include a Pratt Vineyard Anderson Valley vineyard-designate and a 2007 Schneider Vineyard Russian River Valley wine. The wines are available on the website.
