Pelican Ranch Winery
A small, family owned winery specializing in Rhone and Burgundy varieties. Established in 1997, the winery is located in downtown Santa Cruz, two blocks off Highway 1. The proprietors are Phil and Peggy Crews. Multiple Pinot Noirs are produced including vineyard designates from Babcock Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, Remde Vineyard, Green Valley Road Vineyard and Deer Park Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA, and Sleep Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. Production is limited to 100 cases from each vineyard. The wines are sold on the website. The tasting room at 402 Ingalls Street #21 in Santa Cruz is open from 12:00 to 5:00 Friday through Sunday. 831-426-6911. |
