Nicholson Vineyards
A family-run boutique winery in Aptos, California in the western foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Brian and Marguerite Nicholson oversee their estate is planted to four acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (original plantings in 1996 and expanded in 2004).and 4 acres of Tuscan variety olive trees. In addition to olive oil, 1,000 cases of wine are produced annually. The winemaker is Ian Brand who has extensive experience in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Two Pinot Noirs are produced: an Estate (200 cases) and an Estate Reserve (25 cases). Contact the winery for events or to purchase wines - 831-724-7071. Nicholson Vineyards is part of the Corralitos Wine Trail initiative. The winery is open for tasting most Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 (call ahead) at 2800 Pleasant Valley Road in Aptos. |
