Smoking Loon
A value-priced line of California varietals produced from purchased bulk wine including Pinot Noir that is in wide retail distribution. Over 200,000 cases are produced. Until 2009, the label was from the Three Loose Screws division of Don Sebastiani & Sons. By 2010, Three Loose Screws became Don & Sons, as one of two separate divisions of Don Sebastiani Family Wines (the other being The Other Guys).

Tasty black raspberry fruit with a smoky edge (the label is appropriate). Medium bodied, soft in the mouth with minimal tannins. Straightforward and simple and very Decent for the price.
