Paul Dolan Vineyards
Owner Paul Dolan, President of Fetzer Vineyards, is a well-known proponent of biodynamic farming and winemaking. Paul Dolan Vineyards was named Winery of the Year by the California Tourism Industry Association for its Green Practices. Dolan has authored a book, True to Our Roots, which details the management principles that enable Fetzer Vineyards to become one of America's biggest and best-known wineries even as it was becoming a model for sustainable businesses everywhere. Dolan is also a contributor to the Green Winegrowing Handbook. Paul Dolan Vineyards Mendocino County Pinot Noir is made with organically grown grapes grown on the outskirts of the Mendocino National Forest. Other varietals include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are sold on the website which is very informative about green farming practices.
