Deerfield Ranch Winery
Robert Rex is the managing partner and winemaker for Deerfield Ranch Winery. He has been a winemaker for 37 years and has trained many winemakers including Michael Browne of Kosta Browne and Jamie Kutch of Kutch Wines. The winery is one of only three certified organic wineries in Sonoma.
The winery is built into the side of a hill with tunnels opening out into a tasting room. Multiple varietal wines are produced from estate and grower-owned vineyards including a Russian River Pinot Noir. Every attempt is made to keep histamine and sulfite levels as low as possible in the wines.
The tasting room at 10200 Sonoma Highway, just south of Kenwood, is open daily from 10:30 to 4:30
