Occidental Road Cellars
Richard and Joelle Prather farm a vineyard site near Occidental, California on lands farmed by their family for four generations and historically planted to cherries and apples. Two vineyards have been planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Syrah: Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Helen's Ridge Vineyard. A new winery opened in 2009 in the heart of the Green Valley at the corner of Gravenstein Hwy North and Occidental Road in Sebastopol. The tasting room is open every Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00. Small lots of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel are produced and may be ordered online. Join the mailing list online. |
