Rideau Vineyard
A specialist in Rhone-inspired wines that also produces a Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills.. The winery was founded in 1997 by New Orleans native, Iris Rideau. The winemaker is Andres Ibarra, a Mexican immigrant who has come from an assistant winemaker position at Fess Parker Vineyard. The first Pinot Noir was produced from the 2003 vintage. Production is 10,000 cases annually. The tasting room is located in an historic adobe at 1562 Alamo Pintado Road in Solvang (Santa Ynez Valley) and is open daily. |
