Two brothers with a Portuguese heritage, Derek and Tim Toledo, founded this winery. Tim has made a name for himself in the video game industry and Derek in the direct communications business. The labels sport photographs of Burgundy vineyards the owners have taken on travels through out the world.
Vineyard sources have varied with the vintage and have included Bien Nacido Block T (Santa Maria Valley), Morris Ranch (Sonoma Coast), Akins Vineyard (Anderson Valley), Gap's Crown (Sonoma Coast), and La Encantada (Sta. Rita Hills)
