Ray Franscioni Wines
Ray Franscioni is the third generation of Monterey County farmers who began growing wine grapes in 1990. Franscioni estates supplies grapes to many noted vintners including Kendall-Jackson, Mer Soleil, Morgan, Cru and Joullian. The winery has three labels: Puma Road Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, Pedregal Bordeaux varietals, and Lilia Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winemaker is Joel Burnstein. First vintage was 2006. A tasting room is located within the winery and barrel room in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA and nestled against the original Silvio Franscioni home. The tasting room is open by appointment and for private parties, weddings and business affairs. Located at 32720 River Road in Soledad. 831-455-1096. |
