Michael and Teresa Jordan launched a new winery in 2010 with their inaugural releases from the 2007 vintage including a Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir.
Michael is a master sommelier and longtime general manager of Disney's Napa Rose restaurant. After 35 years in the wine and restaurant industry, Jordan is starting his wine company, called WORD. Jordan plans to become a negociant, using his relationships gained in many years as a sommelier to source grapes.
I assume the wines will be sold by mailing list.
