Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard
Located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, Buttonwood is a family owned and operated winery and vineyard committed to sustainable agriculture since 1968. The estate vineyard features warmer climate Bordeaux and Rhone grapes. The Pinot Noir, first produced in the 2007 vintage, is sourced from the Santa Rita Hills and made in very small quantities. The winemaker is Karen Steinwachs, who trained under Kathy Joseph at Fiddlehead. Her Sauvignon Blancs have received much critical acclaim. The tasting room at 1500 Alamo Pintado Road is open daily from 11:00 to 5:00. |
