Wolff Vineyards
The Wolff Vineyard is located on 125 acres of ecologically friendly property in the Edna Valley. The sustainably certified property on Orcutt Road is one of the first vineyards established in Edna Valley in 1975. Originally planted by Andy MacGregor, Jean-Pierre and Elke Wolff renamed the vineyard in 1999 when they expanded it and added their artisan winery. The Pinot Noir blocks are planted to Dijon 115, 667 and 777 clones and Pommard. Jean-Pierre is the winemaker. The winery produces a single estate Pinot Noir. The first vintage was 2000. The winery also crafts Dry Riesling, Chardonnay, Syrah and Petite Sirah. All wines are very reasonably priced ($18-$26.50 for the 2007 vintage). |
