Tyler Florence Wines
Noted chef, Tyler Florence, with three restaurants in the Bay Area (Wayfare Tavern in San Francisco, Tyler Florence Rotisserie in Napa, and El Paseo in Mill Valley), got into the wine business in 2006 with the production of a single barrel of 2006 Dry Creek Zinfandel. He joined Michael Mondavi of Folio Fine Wine Partners to expand Tyler Florence wines and in 2010 will release five bottlings, including a Carneros Pinot Noir. Michael Mondavi's son, Rob Mondavi, is the winemaker. Florence is actively involved in harvest and blending. Presumably, the wines will be sold primarily at Florence's restaurants.
