Hawley Winery
This winery was started in 1996 by John Hawley, after working as a winemaker for twenty years, including ten as founding winemaker at Clos du Bois and six as chief winemaker for Kendall-Jackson. Located on Hawley's Bradford Mountain Estate overlooking the Dry Creek Valley, he also grows ten acres of CCOF organic vineyards. Along with his two sons, Paul and Austin, the family produces wines from certified organic vineyards and other select Sonoma County sources. A wide range of premium varietal wines are offered with most crafted in lots of less than 500 cases. Total production is 3,000 cases. A Pinot Noir is sourced from Oehlman Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. A tasting room and art gallery (work by Dana Hawley) is located in downtown Healdsburg at 36 North Street. The winery is open for tours by appointment except on Saturdays. 707-431-2705. |
