14.6% alc., pH 3.93, 70 cases, $35. Sourced from Keller, Rodgers Creek and Sangiacomo vineyards. Aged 19 months in 70% 1-year-old Francois Fréres and Demptos French oak barrels. Pommard, Dijon 115, 667, 777 and 828. · Brooding, initially sporting aromas of dark cherries, earth and peat, later becoming smoky and tarry.
