UPTick Vineyards
A family owned winery located in the Russian River Valley. The owners, Steven and Robin Black, established the UPTick Vineyard label in 2007. UPTick is defined as a transaction in the stock market at a price above the price of the preceding transaction and can also mean a move forward to a higher level (experience in the quality and production of wine). The name reflects the financial industry background of Steven Black. Several varietals are produced including a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Grapes are sourced from the UPTick Vineyard and other sources in Sonoma County. The winemaker is Cary Gott. The winery's tasting room is located at 9050 Windsor Road in Windsor. Wines may be ordered from the website. |
