Demuth Kemos Wines
A partnership between long time friends Eric Demuth and Peter Kemos led to the founding of this tiny boutique winery in the Russian River Valley specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County. Eric Demuth's helped plant his family's former estate vineyard in the Anderson Valley, Demuth Vineyard and it as Peter Kemos' frequent visits as a guest and seasonal helper to the vineyard that sparked his interest in wine. The winery is located on the Martinelli Family's "Moonshine Ranch" in the Russian River Valley. A Chardonnay from the Demuth Vineyard is offered. The Demuth fruit was planted in 1982 and is the original Wente clone. The wines are sold through a mailing list. |
