Leucadia Red
A small producer of Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and a Blanc de Noirs. The labels feature the art of Jami Goddess noted for females figures described as dark and surreal. "When a person asks what is Leucadia Red? I can only answer; it's about art, it's about beautiful wines at very nice prices. It's an experience, a journey in imagination, inspiration in affirmation, and it's about rebellion against conforming with traditional concepts and techniques and the resistance to succumb to the pressure of our modern day society. The work of Jami Goddess depicted on the wine labels reflects women that display an implicit, haunting emotion, overcoming adversity through pain and spiritual growth. The female figures have been described as dark and surreal; one reviewer went as far as calling the women she creates 'post-apocalyptic pinups.'" Leucadia Red is cellared and bottled in Healdsburg, CA. The wines have limited retail distribution. Articles About Leucadia Red |
