Simi
An iconic winery with a 125-year history. The wines showcase Bordeaux varietals from Alexander Valley (600 estate-owned acres) and Chardonnay from Goldfields Vineyard (120 acres) in the Russian River Valley. Grapes are also sourced from Dry Creek Valley, Knights Valley and Carneros. The winemakers are Steve Reeder, formerly of Chateau St. Jean and Susan Leuker. Pinot Noir is a minor part of the winery's portfolio. The only offering is a Sonoma County Pinot Noir (12,500 cases). The winery's Visitor's Center in Healdsburg is open daily. A tour of the historic stone cellar, built in 1850, is offered daily. Special picnics, buffets and dinners can also be arranged. |
