Verotto
The owners of this winery are Joe Alioto Veronese, Julie Gilman Veronese and their son Gian-Paolo Alioto Veronese. Joe's father, Adolfo Veronese, came to the United States from Padova, Italy as a teenager and became an operator of several successful restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area. Verotto has been producing wines since 2003 when it first sourced Pinot Noir from the family's Carneros estate vineyard. The Pinot Noir is been offered under several labels including Vero by Verotto, Sergio, Juliet and Augustus. The wines are sold through the winery's website store. A vacation home, Villa Verotto, is located in Carneros and is available for rental. |
