Venge Vineyards
Nils Venge is well known in Napa circles. He studied viticulture at University of California Davis and subsequently purchased a 17-acre vineyard in the Oakville District in 1976, making the Venge family among the winemaking pioneers of Napa Valley. In 2008, Nils' son, Kirk Venge, acquired full ownership of Venge Vineyards from his family and has continued the family history of excellence in wine. A Pinot Noir is produced from the Bacigalupi Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Tasting by reservation Wednesday through Sunday (not open to the general public). |
