Medici Vineyard was planted by Hal and Dotty Medici in 1976, making it one of the oldest vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Winemaker Peter Rosback (Sineann, Trium, The Pines in Hood River) produces estate grown Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and ice wine from the vineyard. Medici wines are something of a secret and are quickly snapped up by locals.
Sineann Winery is based at Medici Vineyards. Sineann wines may be tasted at Medici Vineyards, but tasting of Medici wines is offered at Dark Horse Wine Bar in Newberg (Thursday through Sunday). Both winery's wines are available for tasting on Thanksgiving and Memorial Day weekends.
