Somerston Vineyards & Winery
The Somerston property consists of 1,628 acres with over 200 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards, winery and ranch. Somerston is 8 miles east of Rutherford high in the eastern hills of Napa Valley. The remarkable property has several spring-fed lakes, natural soda springs and several acres dedicated to farming fruit trees, vegetables, herbs and gardens. The three labels include Somerston (Estate grown limited production Cabernet Sauvignon, Proprietary Red and Sauvignon Blanc), Priest Ranch (selected vineyard blocks on the Somerston vineyard property including Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc) and Highflyer (multiple varietals sourced from California vineyards including Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands and Santa Maria Valley). Craig Becker is the Director of Winemaking and Viticulture. Somerston Estate offers an indoor tasting facility and an outdoor patio. An off-road all-terrain vineyard experience is available by appointment. A tasting room is also located at 6490 Washington Street in Yountville. The wines are also sold on the website.
